Cricket is the sport where almost everybody has an opinion and very few have a price. Bets run from the toss to the last ball, and the format of the match changes the maths. This page is an independent overview of how cricket markets work and where to read more on this site. For what BDBAJEE actually offers, open its own site or app.
Why cricket is different from other sports
A football match has one clock and a handful of scorelines. Cricket has innings, overs, powerplays, wickets in hand and weather. That gives bookmakers plenty to price, and it gives you plenty of ways to get lost. A bet on total runs in a T20 is a different animal from a bet on a draw in a Test.
The format sets the shape of the market list. Short formats lean on runs, sixes and top bat. Long formats add session bets and the draw. Our page on Test cricket betting covers the draw problem in detail.
Common cricket markets
Most books offer a core set and add side markets for big matches. Whether BDBAJEE lists these is something to confirm on its own sportsbook page, since we did not record that when we checked on 7 November 2026.
- Match winner, sometimes with a tie or no-result rule.
- Top batter or top bowler for a side.
- Total runs, over or under a stated line.
- Over-by-over or session runs in live play.
- Player milestones such as fifty or wickets taken.
Reading the price
A short price means the book thinks the outcome is likely. A long price means it is not. Neither says anything about what will happen. Learn how to convert odds in our guide to cricket odds and you will see how much margin sits in a two-way market.
Rules around ties, abandoned games and reduced overs differ between books. Read the rules line under the market before you stake, because a rain-hit match is where most disputes start.

We do not list fixtures or results here. Dates move and we would rather say nothing than be wrong.
Keeping it sensible
Cricket runs for hours, and hours are when stakes creep up. Set a limit before the first ball, put the phone down between overs and do not top up mid-match to chase a loss. Read cricket betting tips for habits that help.
